STEVEN LIPPMAN
Lippman was born in Los Angeles
and never really had a passion for photography
until a later time in his life. It was during that time
that Steven was traveling as a model that he began
taking pictures. After his modeling career he returned
to California and began his career as a photographer.

Lippman has shot many advertising campaigns for clients
such as Harley Davidson, Billabong and others. In 2011,
he directed a seven minute long video that went viral for
SVC Mobile Entertainment. Earlier in the 2000s Steven
photographed many celebrities like Ryan Reynolds, Jeremy Piven and musical acts like the All American Rejects.

Mark Seliger
Seliger was born in Amarillo Texas in 1959. He began working for the Rolling Stone in 1987 and served as its chief photographer from 1992 to 2002. Seliger has shot more than 100 covers for the magazine and has shot a numerous amount for GQ and Vanity Fair. He has published several books and a number of CD covers for multiple bands all in the early 2000s. |

Photography Peaked in 2000
Since photography emerged in the early 1800s, the number of photographs created every year has grown exponentially. A dramatic shift occurred around the year 2000.
Year after year these numbers grew, as more people took more photos – the 20th century was the golden age of analog photography peaking at an amazing 85 billion physical photos in 2000 — an incredible 2,500 photos per second. In total we have now taken over 3.5 trillion photos. The kind of photos we are taking has changed drastically – analog photos have almost disappeared – but the growth of photos continues
